Writing Twice is for the Birds

Dognabbit!! I had my whole blog entry done - when the joy of Vista kicked in and my Internet Explorer decided to encounter an error and stop working. I was done! Spell check completed! In the final preview! Finger poised to click "Post this Entry"...then the dreaded Vista IE white screen of death with the horrifying green progress bar and spinning blue circle materialized out of nowhere! I tried in vain to get a quick highlight and cut...as the notification informed me IE was shutting down and would try to restart.....but as expected it was to no avail - blog gone....grrrr and more GRRRRRR!. So here I go again!

I know some of you have seen these but I wanted to share them with all my friends. We've all seen our fair share of silly animal videos, but these really are very cute (and not long either!)

This little Cockatoo should be a judge on Dancing with the Stars because he surely knows when a song "has a nice beat and you can dance to it" (although you may not agree with his taste in music LOL!) He not only has rhythm but definite stage presence and talent as well. He's sure to make you grin.

And then there's this chip stealing seagull from Aberdeen, Scotland. He's made his rounds via email, but this short news clip features an "Interview with a Gull" (for those of you who don't understand my twisted American humor that's meant to be a rather lame play on the movie title "Interview with a Vampire.")

This little gull even got his own spot in the Snopes hall of fame - where they have identified the story of this shoplifting avian as indeed being true.

Well, that's my limit on avian videos for today. I'm going to fly now LOL!
