Amazingly Addictive Auditorium Game

There’s that initial repetition of a vowel sound again. But that’s definitely not the introduction to a new word game. Quite the contrary! I?m sleepily struggling to accurately describe Auditorium. It’s a game of skill (I do believe I should have paid more attention in physics in high school though) and it’s an amazing audio-visual treat (if you manage to play it correctly that is!) The simplicity and yet the complexity of this (based on particle math) puzzle game fascinates me. Even the now fourteen year old male offspring took a crack at it! (That’s amazing in and of itself considering he doesn’t like any game I think is worth playing.)

![]() | Auditorium is one of those things I just can’t really describe. It’s a game, but it definitely reminds me of a media visualization - only it’s one you have to try and control. It starts in basic black and white, but the higher the levels go the more colorful and more complicated it becomes. I’m tired tonight, so it really defies all logic and description from me at the moment. But I liked it enough to toss together a quick post - all I can say is to go give it a try. |
What’s available now is a demo version with only 5 levels. However, from what I can see, they are planning on a 20 level game. I can’t wait! I got through about half of level 2 before I had to give up tonight (in favor of sleep) but I’ll be back at it in no time!! Let me know what you think if you’re game (pun intended) to give it a try.
