Philip YeohThanks for that great tip, Doris. Are they pushing out SP2 to users? Because I haven't got a clue about when I'm required to install it.

From what I've seen, it won't be included in automatic updates until July for most users. However, if you wander over to the MS update site you can select it now if you want to install it early. The download on my cable modem was approximately 8-9 minutes, but the install went a bit faster than anticipated. I was prepared for an hour or more, and it was done in just under 1/2 hour.

SP1 is a pre-requisite to SP2 installation. SP2 is not totally cumulative and you cannot go from no service packs directly to SP2. So, for anyone who has not installed SP1, now is the time!!

E_KI found SP2 install a doddle too - it warned at start this might be up to "an hour" - but I think mine was over in just 20min or so.

Anyway Doris, NICE POST! As always, gloriously clear and easy/enjoyable to read.
