B2evolution Themes and Windows Live Writer Solved

I fully realize more people use Wordpress than B2evoltuion as their blogging platform.  But I kinda like B2. Periodically, I’ve had trouble getting my chosen B2evolution themes to import into Windows Live Writer successfully.  It would kick up error.  I couldn’t figure it out.  Why would it work some times and not others?

Finally, I stumbled upon the answer.  If you happen to be in your B2 backend dashboard at the same time you try to import the theme into Windows Live Writer it will cause Windows Live Writer to error on the import.  All you need to do is to exit your back office and the themes then import properly.

I have no idea what causes the conflict - but the fix is pretty darn simple!   And given that I just adore Windows Live Writer, it’s a good thing I stumbled on the answer.
