Tags: crafts28 July 2008 I had a conversation the other day with a friend regarding uses for old CD’s. Seems such a shame to throw them away. I did a quick Google…I mean really…how much is out there on this subject? Would you believe over 2,000,000 search results? I ran through the first ten or so & perhaps one day I’ll do a page dedicated to this very intensely technical issue. But for today I’d just like to share my absolute favorite of all of them. This photo is awesome! Imagine the patience it took to do this project. 24 July 2008 I’m not sure where I first saw this idea. I’ve done a Google search and can’t turn up any formal instructions, so I’ll give it my best shot and embellish with a few of my own ideas. 11 June 2008 Gifts for different occasions can add up to lots of dollars spent. Gift baskets you put together yourself are a fantastic cost cutting alternative. Recipients are likely to enjoy them, as the contents were selected specifically for them. Commercial gift baskets can cost quite a bit, but a homemade frugal version is easy to do. 28 March 2007
Last time I wrote about money saving and recipe sites I got a lot of positive feedback. Several of you told me you saved the links (though they are all on my del.icio.us page) either through comments on my blog or in personal conversations. While compiling my del.icio.us page I came across some sites I failed to mention (I'm quite sure I didn't FORGET I just failed to do it LOL) in my previous blogs so I decided I'd share them with you here. I hope you find something enjoyable and interesting in these links:

Doing something yourself can bring such a sense of accomplishment. I’ve found cooking & crafts not only make me feel productive, but saves lots of money. I rarely buy gifts, I feel a gift made especially for someone is much more appreciated. Such things don’t need to be expensive or difficult. I thought I’d share some links I’ve found to some great sites. You can surf these pages for hours. You’ll be amazed at the great ideas you can find. From kids crafts to cooking to “recipes” for around the house products/remedies you never knew you could make – there are many fun & money saving ideas on these pages.
