Your Clicks CAN Help!

There are so many fraudulent charity web sites and even more emails cut from the same dastardly mold. Most ask for your money, either as direct contribution or buy making a purchase - preying upon your desire to help others. Those that claim you can help by simply forwarding an email on to say 40,000 of your closest friends and family members is likely have you sending a nasty malware worm along with your message.

Updating the Archives

I don’t really see the point in having old blog posts hanging around for years upon years…collecting virtual dust, entombed in the sarcophagus of my sidebar archives. Mummified entries are just Yankee Doodle Dandy, but only if tomb raiders haven’t stolen the gems of wit and insight (uh…that means they need to be of value). Sure, sure, they provide a history of one’s own personal growth and evolution in blogging - a snapshot in time of oddball thoughts and weird things found interesting. But it’s not sufficient reason for me (and that’s just me…my opinion…not to be construed as a dig at anyone else and their personal preferences so don’t send me any hate mail) to keep years worth of old posts hanging around.

Life rushes past with such incredible speed. As children, days seem to drag, months take forever, and years? Well, they're simply never ending. As an adult (or at least most of the time I am...no comments from the peanut gallery please!) they all seem to speed by in a blur. Often I don't take time to appreciate the small things, the little miracles of everyday life. There are so many wondrous things to stop and notice everyday if one just makes the time, taking a few moments to look for and reflect upon them.
