No doubt, by now you’ve realized the importance of spyware and malware protection. If you haven’t (imagine a wagging finger) shame on you! Still, I’m going to persevere in my quest to make you spyware free (at least for a few minutes in time). I’m trying to move in a logical progression (as logical as I’m capable of that is). This write up was done by my new friend George on Multiply. I was impressed with the simplicity and clarity he used to describe various types of spyware, malware etc., how it attacks, how it hides, what it does, how you know you've got it, and what you need to do. I'll go into more detail about preventing and cleaning but this is a wonderful overview.
