Bridge to Hawaii

Ah yes, what do I do when ideas escape me? I find a (more-or-less) family friendly joke from my email archives and share it with everyone. Today is no exception. As usual, I did not make this one up and I’ve no idea where it originated. This one did bring a slight smile to my lips.
This Is Not Kansas Anymore

I’ll admit, my 14-year old male offspring is highly addicted to YouTube. On the way to school yesterday, he asked if I’d ever heard how Pink Floyd’s Album “Dark Side of the Moon” syncs perfectly to the Wizard of Oz. Admittedly, I had not. Today, he showed me, and I must say - it’s somewhat captivating (if you like Pink Floyd that is!)

I came across this email the other night. It’s one of those warm fuzzy ones. I have no idea where it originated, and I take no credit for writing it. Enjoy!

Who doesn’t love to cook from time to time? I didn’t say who’s good at cooking! I asked who doesn’t like to do it from time to time. Here’s a collection of my favorite recipe sites and cookbooks. My emphasis has always been on saving money and simple cooking. I love to do it, but I don’t need a big white puffy hat and I certainly don’t need to feel like I’m making a gourmet meal. Look at these sites and you’ll find copycat recipes (save money by not going out to eat!!), frugality and simple recipes. Enjoy!!
